The Fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund ("ETF") that seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in the equity securities of companies that design, develop, manufacture, sell, or service machinery, tools, and software used for semiconductor capital equipment ("Semicap Companies").
Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities (which may include depositary receipts) or financial instruments (i.e., swap agreements or forward contracts) that provide exposure to Semicap Companies. The Adviser identifies for potential investment Semicap Companies with at least 50% of their revenues or profits attributable to the design, development, manufacturing, sale, or servicing of equipment, tools, subsystems, or related products used in the manufacture, assembly, or testing of semiconductors, spanning lithography systems, deposition, etch, ion implantation, and thermal processing equipment, process control, metrology, and inspection equipment, wafer cleaning and surface preparation equipment, test, assembly, and packaging equipment, and critical subsystems and components used in the foregoing equipment.
The Fund will concentrate (i.e., invest more than 25% of its total assets) its investments in the group of industries comprising the information technology sector.
The Fund is classified as "non-diversified" under the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act").
