The Fund seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to the inverse (-1X) of the performance of the Underlying ETF over a single trading day. The Fund does not seek to achieve its stated investment objective for a period of time different than a single trading day. The terms “daily,” “day,” and “trading day,” refer to the period from the close of the markets on one trading day to the close of the markets on the next trading day.
The Underlying ETF is advised by BlackRock Fund Advisors (“BFA”) and seeks to track the investment results of the S&P North American Expanded Technology Software Index (the “Underlying Index”). The Underlying Index measures the performance of U.S.- traded stocks from the software industry and select companies from the interactive home entertainment and interactive media and services sub-industries in the U.S. and Canada. This includes companies that are producers of client/server applications, enterprise software, application software, home entertainment software, and media and services software. The Underlying Index may include large-, mid-, or small-capitalization companies.
The Fund is classified as “non-diversified” under the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the “1940 Act”).
